A short introduction.

Trained in Rostock, studied at the Charité. Promotion magna cum laude. Board-certified radiologist — ten years of clinical radiology and nuclear medicine.

Then I moved to the industry side, where I've now spent six years. First as a freelance consultant, then as clinical lead at Neo Q, since 2021. The work is still radiology, but from the product side: workflows, AI integration, reporting standards. The question shifted from what the scan shows to what a tool has to do so the scan gets read properly.

In 2022, Igor Toker and I founded Q-Rad — initially to help physicians find roles in industry. That grew into consulting for MedTech companies, and eventually into Second View, our platform for independent radiological second opinions. Second View is where most of our energy goes right now: live, first clients onboarded, scaling.

I still write. Mostly about what happens when AI enters clinical practice — patient autonomy, structured reporting, and the skills we might lose if we're not paying attention. Published in BMJ Quality & Safety, NZZ, Digital Health, and a handful of others.
